    This position will focus on supporting our industrial platform, under Colony Industrial, where we acquire, develop and operate industrial properties in major metropolitan markets throughout the U.S. with a focus on light industrial buildings. You can learn more about Colony Industrial here.


    • Perform ad hoc financial analysis/modeling, including discounted cash flows, asset valuations, and cost benefit calculations. This includes pro-forma creation within Excel, strategic scenario analysis for sell/hold recommendations
    • Conduct market and submarket analysis and reporting on rents, competition demographics, supply and demand drivers
    • Assist in preparation of investor reporting, including quarterly updates and responding to specific investor requests
    • Participate on regular portfolio-related conference calls
    • Investment Write up briefs
    • Performing market research
    • Broker relations
    • Various analysis of accounting reporting, real estate taxes, risk management, property info. etc.
    • Assistance with implementation of internal asset management system development/enhancements


    • 1 to 2 Years experience required.
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, real estate or related from a top tier University with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher 
    • Strong grasp of financial principles and concepts that are crucial to underwriting real estate (IRR, NPV, cap rate, return on cost, etc.)
    • Argus and strong Excel experience is required
    • Knowdlge of leases and underwriting preferred
    • Financial Modeling skills
    • Must be able to work well within a team and possess superb analytical, quantitative, problem solving, writing and communication skills
    • Independent thinker, high level of initiative and strong work ethic.  Ability to work well with little direction or as part of a collaborative team
