    • Prepare monthly journal entries, income and balance sheet statements, account reconciliations, and other management reporting schedules as required
    • Perform analysis to verify accuracy to accounting records
    • Use judgment and professional skills in determining appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, transactions and reporting
    • Research and resolve problems pertaining to accounting records, ensuring compliance with firm procedures and policies
    • Apply policies and procedures and bring inconsistencies and problems to management’s attention
    • Assist with financial audits
    • Assist in the documentation and review of accounting policies and procedures including suggested updates and improvements
    • Perform other duties as requested by management
    • Experience working in Yardi (preferred)


    • 4-year degree in Accounting
    • 2-3 years of experience
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – preferred, but not required
    • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
    • Ability to perform multiple assignments
    • Highly detail oriented
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
    • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external vendors to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
