    Colony Capital, Inc. This position will focus on supporting our healthcare platform, where we structure, acquire and manage investments in healthcare real estate with a focus on independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Colony Capital is headquartered in Los Angeles with over 400 employees in offices located across 17 cities in ten countries.
     
    The Global Operations / Legal Manager is a newly created standalone position responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative operations for our Healthcare portfolio.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all documentation related to the healthcare portfolio
    • Track litigation, insurance claims, escrows, and other related matters
    • Produce reports regarding assorted operational and legal matters
    • Coordinate with assorted business lines, vendors, and consultants
    • Oversee spending and budgets
    • Track all lease, JV and Management agreement covenants

     

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of in-house paralegal or similar relevant experience
    • Ability to interact well with all levels of personnel
    • Ability to thrive in a sometimes independent/autonomous function with strong prioritizing and multitasking skills as well as the ability work well with other team members
    • Strong experience managing simultaneous tasks and deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to manage time and tasks effectively
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Desire to be integrated into a business unit
