    The Accounting Specialist reports to the Global Accounts Payable Manager. The position is responsible for the management of property level receipts and disbursements for the U.S. Colony Industrial Fund.

    Responsibilities

    Accounts Payable and Disbursements

    • Accounts Payable Payscan Invoice Workflow (local checks and Paysource disbursements)
    • ACH/Fed Wire requests
    • Priority/time sensitive payment processing
    • Oversight of UEM payable batches and disbursement
    • Vendor record set-up, approvals, maintenance, related party monitoring
    • Cash Balance monitoring
    • Bank statement reconciliation support
    • Payable aging review

    Accounts Receivable

    • Tenant monthly billing statements and notifications (electronic)
    • Tenant ACH debit draft maintenance
    • Lockbox and tenant portal integration with Yardi
    • Online review of daily lockbox receipts

    Other Responsibilities

    • Oversight and P&P guidance to internal/external parties (PMs, Offshore Staff)
    • Annual Audit PBC deliverables
    • Email monitoring
    • Workflow review and identification of process failures

    Qualifications

    • Yardi is required
    • 4-year degree in Accounting or equivalent
    • 2-4 years of experience
    • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
    • Ability to perform multiple assignments
    • Highly detail oriented
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
    • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external vendors to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results
